Karen L. Greene provides leadership, advice and best practices about prospect management, portfolio optimization, prospect identification, pipeline management and fundraising forecasting across the institution. Over her more than three decades in advancement, she has worked with a widespread number of non-profit organizations to improve their fundraising efforts through realigning workflows, processes, and structures. Having worked with hundreds of organizations, Karen brings an unparalleled view of structures and possibilities to her clients in helping them to achieve success. A frequent presenter and volunteer, Karen’s contributions to the field were recognized when she received the APRA Distinguished Service Award (2010). And in 1993, yes it was that long ago, she co-authored a prize-winning paper about using the Internet to do prospect research…FYI the World Wide Web (www) was largely undeveloped at the time, so we are talking about gating, FTP and Telnet!

Starting her career in healthcare fundraising at University of Chicago, Medicine and Biological Sciences, she has over eight years of experience in advancement and data-driven strategy. Alexandra partners with development officers to strengthen donor engagement and build sustainable support for Oxy’s students, faculty, and programs.
